Note
For Galaxy kayaks, the right combination is a 150 mm shaft plus the Galaxy plate. For Hobie and all other kayaks, the plate is standard and you will need to measure the shaft length to choose the right option.
Who is this motor for?
For anglers who use fishing kayaks in demanding conditions: wind, river current, long crossings or heavy kayaks. Also for those who troll or fish offshore from a kayak.
Frequently asked questions
- Do I need a special plate for my kayak?
- If your kayak needs a custom mounting plate, there is a surcharge of €189.90. Write to us at info@peskayak.com to check compatibility with your model.
- Is the HAA system mandatory?
- The HAA (man overboard) system comes built in as standard and is strongly recommended for safe boating. It stops the motor automatically if the angler falls into the water and loses the safety key.
- What is the difference between the 42V and the 24V model?
- The 42V model (STG-EVOMAX) offers more peak power and better behaviour in adverse conditions. The 24V model (STG-ULTRA) is optimised for more standard use. Both are brushless motors.
